Hintonburg Connection Project update – interior design by Iron & Ivory

Iron & Ivory

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with local interior designers Iron & Ivory. This brilliant team will be designing our amenity spaces – lobby/wifi work lounge, admin office, party room and the rooftop terrace.

Iron & Ivory has an impressive portfolio of beautifully designed spaces, including Ottawa favourites such as, Pure Kitchen, Her Esthetician, Tallow, Queen St. Fare and Burger and Fries Forever, just to name a few. Not from Ottawa? If you’re familiar with Assembly Hall in downtown Toronto or Burrito Borracho in Montreal then you’ve seen their handy work.

Hintonburg Connection’s community-oriented nature provided an interesting theme for Iron & Ivory to work from – design the spaces to reflect Hintonburg’s unique community flavour. In the design, you will see hints of Hintonburg’s industrial past and the social aspects of its present, such as nods to the market, theatre and art scene. Without giving too much away, we can say that there will be gorgeous murals, interesting light fixtures and beautiful yet cozy furniture. The spaces are designed for whatever your need is – you can meet up with your neighbours, host your friends for dinner or simply do work on your own. Just like Hintonburg, the various amenity spaces will have a eclectic but still cohesive feel that will remind you of the neighbourhood you live in and instantly make you feel at home.

We are so excited to have this incredible team on board and can’t wait to show you the finished amenity spaces. Stay tuned for more updates and renderings!
